1992 Hobart | In 1992, she was chartered by Adrienne Cahalan and named Ella Bache. The 1992 Sydney to Hobart program states: "Chartered by 18' Skiff Champion Adrienne Cahalan, This yacht is better know as Beyond Thunderdome. Also sailing under charter, the One Tonner was a member of the UK winning team in the '89 Southern Cross and the winning Irish team in the '91, failing to start in the Hobart race after loosing her mast. Also a member of the winning Australian team in the '88 Kenward Cup, she will be sailed by a very experience all female crew including Vanessa Dudley and Amanda Wilmot."
